Carcassonne	Occupied since VI century BC, Carcassonne was a roman village, fortified in the IV century and eventually becoming an important medieval city. In XIII century the Crown gave the city a second fortification, enlarged the castle and built a surrounding wall. Restored by Viollet le Duc in the XIX century, the city is proof of 1000 years of military architecture and 2500 years of history.
The world's largest birds of prey fly in total liberty, a real pleasure to watch, and at 800 metres from the city, at the colline de Pech Mary, visitors can participate at feeding time.		The City Eagles

LA GROTTE DE LIMOUSIS	Carved out by an underground river, a superb cave, decorated by staligtites and stalagmites of an exceptional glaze. The cave was the hideout of prehistoric man, as well as bears and outlaws.
The castle symbolizes the stronghold of the Cathar resistance. It was in 1244 that 200 "parfaits" were burnt alive, rather than renounce their faith. This is a fabulous historical site.		Le Château de Montségur
